Natalie chose to have her trial for her wedding makeup done on the day she was having her engagement photos done. This is a fantastic idea and one we highly recommend! By doing this, you get the chance to see how the makeup photographs, which is always very very different than taking selfies off your cell phone… trust us! Not only that, but who wouldn’t want to be pampered by having your makeup professionally done on the day you get such important engagement photos taken?!?
She chose to have her makeup on the more natural side but with a strong black liner with a wing and a nude pink lip. This is a very popular look right now, and it is so nice because it’s simple, yet gives a very striking classic look. With this look, it’s all about flawless skin and that black liner! We also decided to pair this with a great set of false lashes, just to give it that extra oomph! Natalie is a very talented hairstylist herself, so of course, she did her own hair in gorgeous, loose, flowing, wavy curls for her engagement photos.
On the day of Natalie’s trial, oh my goodness, it was pouring!! Not sprinkling…. POURING! But it didn’t even phase Natalie. Not even a little bit. She was so relaxed. And even though it wasn’t perfect beautiful sunshine (far from it), the pictures turned out fantastic, thanks to their photographer, Jamie Delaine, and the relaxed couple of course. 😉
